MIT 1947 Class Members at Alumni Day June 9, 2017, who attended the class luncheon

A very much diminished number of our classmates attended our 70th class Alumni day reunion/luncheon on June 9,  2017,at the Hyatt Hotel in Cambridge, MA. But they made up for the modest attendance with great vitality and spirit – well beyond what one might expect of a group whose average age was probably in the 90s.

The attendees along with their wives and companions (and one’s son) were fascinated by a seminar delivered by Agnis Stibe, a sociotech designer at the MIT Media Lab. He envisioned future persuasive cities that encourage healthy and sustainable routines so that our world can become a better place through purposefully designed urban spaces that successfully blend technological advancements with human nature.

The Alumni Association thoughtfully supplied the attending classmates with a fanciful and appropriately themed mug shown to the left.
